The look and feel / direction was achieved by combining imagery which reflects the typically diverse South African culture with playful business related illustration styles, as well as using an African colour scheme consisting mainly of the clay/orange colour.
Upon landing on the home page, the first thing a user notices are the big emotive home page banner images. The main objective with these banners is to be able to simply and quickly convey different messages which could appeal to different target markets or audiences. This is banner 1 of 3.

Since this client had no exisiting brand identity I was asked to develop some icons.
The home page is made up of summarised sections from each individual content page which have been layed out in horizontal panels. This is how I summarised the "How it Works" page to fit in the home page design. it's an important section and I wanted it to stand out.
The How it Works page is also designed mainly using this clay/orange colour so the user can easily identify that the sections are one in the same.

No effort was spared to maintain a consistant look and feel from the initital home page design through to the sub/content pages. Often home page designs look and function much better than their sub page counter parts. I really wanted the sub pages to be just as easy to read and navigate as the home page is.
All the sub pages incorporate large beautiful imagery at the top as well as sticking with the horizontal panel design to suit responsive grids.
